Toyota Mirai: The science of B.S.

Toyota is taking transportation to a higher, more efficient level than ever with a new vehicle that goes by the name of Mirai. The Mirai may look like a mid-sized hybrid, but there’s one key difference: it uses NO gasoline. As we’ve learned to expect when we blaze new trails, people are calling B.S. – maybe even you. And we’re proud to admit that everyone calling B.S. is right, in a roundabout sort of way.

The 4-door Mirai is powered by a fuel cell electric drivetrain that runs on hydrogen. Where do you get hydrogen? There are a few different sources, but one of the most unique is B.S., though you probably know it better as manure. You can refuel the Mirai in around 5 minutes and it travels up to 300 miles on a full tank. Not bad for a bunch of B.S., huh? See what we’re talking about for yourself right here.

All right, how exactly does B.S. turn into some of the best, most efficient fuel our world has to offer? Watch and learn. With a lot of technological advances and the help of a little B.S., Toyota is ready to take you farther, with greater efficiency than ever before.

Toyota. Let’s go places.
