2015 Bold New Camry Event
The buzz about the highly anticipated 2015 Bold New Camry continues to grow.
Advantage Toyota Scion is excited to be hosting a New York 2015 Camry Preview Event on Tuesday evening, November 11, 2014. 2015 Camrys will be on hand, a speaker from Toyota will be here to answer your questions, and complimentary refreshments will be provided in our sparkling showroom and lounge area. Stayed tuned to our Social Media channels for more details – links are at the bottom of this page.
Camry was named Best Midsize Car for the Money by U.S. News and World Report (2), Best Overall Value of the Year for Passenger Cars by IntelliChoice (3), 2014 Most Dependable Midsize Sedan by J.D. Power and Associates (4), and 2014 Top Safety Pick by the Insurance Institute for Highway Safety (7).
Though the Camry has been the best-selling car in America for the last 12 years (1) , Toyota has never been a company known to rest on its laurels; for 2015, Camry ups the ante from its angular lines to a refreshed athletic exterior with more fluid body panels. LED headlights are found on V6 models, and LED Daytime Running Lights on the brand new Camry XSE and up.
Camry’s exterior refresh is complemented by a modern interior with soft-touch door panels on every grade and exciting convenience features throughout. The 2015 Camry has ten airbags (5) and is first in its class to offer Qi wireless charging (6).
Camry continues to raise the bar for midsize sedans… 2015 is most definitely the year of the #BoldCamry !
TGB4 2014 – The Ultimate Prius Event
To Go Before is the first and only national owners’ (and future owners’) event celebrating the first family of hybrids – the Prius Family. 2014 marked the second year of this uber-cool event, and Advantage Toyota Scion was there. This year’s event was held at the bucolic Kimball Farm – established in 1939 – near Boston, MA from Friday, September 19 through Sunday, September 21, 2014.
Through three generations, numerous models, and millions of owners, Prius has become synonymous with hybrid automobiles. Prius holds many accolades, including being best-selling hybrid on the planet. An incredible 95% of all Toyota Prius models sold in the last ten years are still on the road 8.To Go Before was created by two Prius owners and enthusiasts as a way to get together with other owners and enjoy their shared passions. It’s a fun event with some technical training and a wide range of other activities, as well as opportunities to see, drive and learn about all models of the current Prius.
The 2014 event culminated with a Prius Cavalcade through the New England Countryside on Sunday morning. Pictures from the event can be found at Prius Chat, the group that sponsored the event. If you use Google+, check out Advantage Marty’s TGB4 2014 travelogue.
Whether you’re a Prius owner, future-owner, or just want to have a great time, be on the lookout for details on TGB4 2015; of course, we’ll share event details on our Social Media sites as they become available in 2015.
Speaking of Prii (the plural of Prius), check out some nifty Prius videos on our YouTube Prius Video Channel for our favorite Prius videos in English, Spanish, and Japanese. The first video at the above link is a hoot – it’s perhaps the most bizarre Prius ad you’ll ever see!

4 Based off of 2014 U.S. Vehicle Dependability Study – Midsize Sedan segment5 All the airbag (AB) systems are Supplemental Restraint Systems. All ABs (if installed) are designed to inflate only under certain conditions and in certain types of severe collisions: frontal and knee ABs typically inflate in frontal collisions; side and side curtain ABs in side collisions; Roll-Sensing Curtain ABs at a severe tilt degree, roll or lateral G-force. In all other accidents, the ABs will not inflate. To decrease the risk of injury from an inflating AB, always wear seatbelts, sit upright in the middle of the seat as far back as possible and do not lean against the door. Do not put objects in front of an AB or around the seatback. Do not use a rearward-facing child seat in any front passenger seat. The force of an inflating AB may cause serious injury or death. See your Owner’s Manual for further information/warnings.6 Qi wireless charging may not be compatible with all mobile phones, MP3/WMA players and like models.
